edited a book on the history of Grays Harbor in the 20th century. "On
the Harbor: From Black Friday to Nirvana" was published in November of 2001. It has since been reprinted by Stephens Press. According to the Washington State Historical Society, the book "has a definite journalistic feel. Chapters are succinct, written in a decidedly informal style, yet packed with rich, well-researched details.”
